Watching the Hayfield brand grow – even in a pandemic!

Date: 14/04/2021

I spoke a little bit last year about the fact that one of my business mantras is never to stand still, and it’s safe to say the Hayfield brand is certainly evolving at the moment! While I adore making feather pins and creating the most beautiful combinations of fedoras and feathers that I can dream up, the Hayfield brand is slowly but surely growing to encompass new products. Of course, some of those are tweaks to our existing range. In 2020 we added summer Henley fedoras and new colours of the classic fedora to the collection, all of which have been so popular. But others are entirely new lines and collections!

Those who follow Hayfield on social media will have seen the very latest addition to the range – our beautiful pens! They are handmade from satin or polished finish gun cartridges and are available in four colours – rose gold, gunmetal, black and gold. Our pens have already proven to be really popular, with customers buying them as gifts for fellow country folk or as a little treat for themselves! Take a closer look at the pen collection here. The pens aren’t the first homewares to appear under the Hayfield brand – I was so pleased to share our baubles and candles at Christmas time too. These also made fabulous festive gifts for people who adore the colours and textures of game bird feathers in their homes. Keep an eye out for more new additions to the home and stationery collection in the year ahead!

But what new and exciting plans do I have for the hats and accessories side of the business? You’ll have to wait and see but I can tell you that I’m looking forward to unveiling some sublime goodies in the next few months… I have to say that I think my followers are going to adore them! I’m also always keen to hear from customers who have ideas for new Hayfield products or think we’re missing a trick – do get in touch.

I love the Hayfield brand and am so proud of its strength, especially at this time. When you think that in 2019, I didn’t have a website and sold the majority of my goods face-to-face at shows and events, the COvid-19 pandemic could have spelt disaster for Hayfield. But, after a lot of hard work, determination and investment in marketing, here we are! Going from strength to strength despite the crazy times we live in. If you’re one of my customers, followers or supporters then thank you for your help – and here’s hoping you’ll stick around to see what the future holds.
